Arnold Horwitt wrote three Season 1 episodes of I Dream of Jeannie: "Anybody Here Seen Jeannie?", "The Americanization of Jeannie" and "Too Many Tonys".
Arnold, in addition to his work on I Dream of Jeannie, also wrote or co-wrote episodes for such TV shows as The Colgate Comedy Hour, The Many Loves of Dobie Gillis, McHale's Navy, The Patty Duke Show, Petticoat Junction, The Real McCoys, Green Acres, Baretta, and One Day at a Time. Also a talented composer and lyricist, he also composed songs which were used in segment of such shows as Dobie Gillis and The Dean Martin Show. The song "This is All Very New to Me", which he wrote, was used in The 2011 Kennedy Center Honors: A Celebration of the Performing Arts TV special.
Horwitt died in 1977 at the age of 59 in Los Angeles.
