Arthur Alsberg served as a script consultant for four episodes of I Dream of Jeannie; "Too Many Tonys", "Get Me to Mecca on Time", "Is There an Extra Jeannie in the House?", and "Never Try to Outsmart a Genie". He also wrote or co-wrote the scripts for three episodes that same season; "Where'd You Go-Go?", "Russian Roulette", and "What House Across the Street?".

Arthur got his start in Hollywood writing radio comedy shows for The Milton Berle Show. and The Danny Kaye Show, among others. Kaye brought him to Hollywood in 1946, where he became a writer for such popular 1950s and 1960s TV shows such as Our Miss Brooks, Bachelor Father, I Dream of Jeannie, The Ghost and Mrs. Muir, Julia and Nanny and the Professor.
