Djinn Djinn, Go Home is the sixth episode of Season 4 of I Dream of Jeannie, and the 93rd overall episode of the series. Written by James Henerson and directed by Hal Cooper, it first aired 11 November 1968 on NBC.
Summary[]
When Anthony Nelson arrives home with Mrs. Bellows to donate items to her charity auction, a terrier is trying to get into the house. While Mrs. Bellows looks in the garage, Tony goes in the house. Djinn Djinn follows him, but hates uniforms. It turns invisible and tears Tony's uniform to pieces. It seems to like Mrs. Bellows, so she wants to take it home, but Tony, realizing it's magical, offers to look after it for a week so his neighbors have a chance to claim it. When she leaves, Jeannie says it's her old pet, and Djinn Djinn magically steals his steak. Tony wants the dog to go but Jeannie wants to keep it.
A week later, Dr. Bellows and his wife see Tony walking the dog. Figuring nobody has claimed it, she takes it home. Later she brings it to NASA where it attacks Dr. Bellows and the General. Jeannie eventually lets Anthony know that when he was a puppy, the guards would kick him and so he hates all uniforms but Jeannie (dressed as Miss Peabody) tells the General and Dr. Bellows it was her chauffeur which mistreated the dog. Unfortunately Mrs. Bellows arrives wearing a uniform and is promptly attacked.
