The Girl Who Never Had a Birthday Party: Part 1 is the tenth episode of Season 2 of I Dream of Jeannie, and the 40th overall episode of the series. Directed by Claudio Guzmán and written by series creator Sidney Sheldon, it first aired 14 November 1966 on NBC.

Summary[]

Jeannie begins to vanish, her powers weakening, because she is unhappy not knowing when her birthday is, all she knows is that on that day two thousand years ago Neptune was in Scorpio. Meanwhile, Majors Nelson and Healey are assigned to work with ERIC (Electronic Rapid Input Computer), a five hundred million dollar supercomputer. Tony decides to use ERIC to discover when Jeannie was born. Roger's is reluctant since if they get caught, it's bound to be a suicide mission. ERIC prints out the date, but all Tony gets is the year 64 BC before Dr. Bellows confiscates the strip of paper. Jeannie loses all her powers and is trapped in a drawer in Major Nelson's desk, with Dr. Bellows ready to move in.
