Summary[]
Jeannie's British uncles have to approve of her future husband. They start to argue leading to a fight which knocks out Tony. Asmire wants him to be a gentleman and Vasmir wants him to be a relaxed chap who gambles and drinks. To appease her uncles Jeannie alternates between being a lady and a common woman. At one point she serves fish and chips at a formal dinner table. Vasmir impersonates Dr. Bellows in appearance but Tony thinks Dr. Bellows is crazy. He impresses Asmire, who is impersonating General Schaeffer, by his concern for fellow officers and other gentlemanly qualities and gets his blessing for his marriage to Jeannie. When Tony confronts Dr. Bellows, who he thinks is still Vasmir, he smashes bottles of whisky and the ukulele which Uncle Vasmir had blinked earlier. Then Asmire and Vasmir enter Dr. Bellows' office disguised as English Army officers and explain it was all a drug experiment. Jeannie is hiding in the pencil pots and tries hard not to laugh as Roger tells General Schaeffer that Dr. Bellows was running a crap game and betting swindle.
Trivia[]
